Go is played on a board using black and white stones, all of the same shape and value. Initially the board is empty and the players (one playing with black stones and the other one with white stones) are alternately placing their pieces one by one on him. The pieces can not move again once set, and the game is to try both players occupy their stones as much as possible from the board. At the end of the game wins the one who has successfully occupied the largest territory.
It is a strategy game whose development, rather than a battle such as chess, could be compared to an entire war or the establishment of an empire.
